Portfolio Concept

I have some experience with ASP.NET and C#, and I created several websites and Windows desktop apps using .NET stack. But now, I want to learn Ruby on Rails because I feel it is more closer to my nature which is entrepreneurship. My previous work is NAKKP

Project Goals

I want to commit 30 to 40 hours per week for learning and coding; however, when its time to code, you never feel the time passage. My main goal is to concentrate on the quality of the time which I am spending on this course.

Course Goals

I have assosiate degree in CS, but I paused the rest of my education for one year to find a web programming job. I am going to finish this course in 5 months, and start working on open source projects and do some freelance, untill I get hired as a junior web developer. If the plan A did'nt work, the plan B is to continue untill the plan A works.

My Story

I got a computer science associate degree from Damavand Azad University in 2005, and after graduation I joined Army as a software developer for two years. After graduation from the school I always kept up with Microsoft .NET technologies. I designed applications and attended several courses. Now, I have shifted from .Net to Ruby on Rails because I felt it has more exciting projects and has a really nice community. Plus that, I like to do some entrepreneurship in near future.
